Vacation!?!?!?!?
My family is wondering where the best vacation spot in America is. We’ve gone to Disney World 5 years in a row, and we want to go somewhere that is warm, has amusement parks, water parks, and a resort to stay at with nice things to do around the resort (bicycling, boating, pools etc.)(beaches aren’t necessary). We love Disney World, but we don’t know if it’s getting boring. Last year we stayed for 2 weeks in Disney. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside Resort and it was beautiful! We are willing to go anywhere around America or the islands below, not like Australia or Asia and maybe Europe. We are able to go anywhere that has an airfare amount of $1000 at most for three people.
I hope you can help!!

If you like the ocean, Cape Cod Massachusetts offers a wide variety of beaches in a small area….rocky, or sandy, bay with the coolest low tide ever, and whale watching tours to one of the best places on earth to see whales. not expensive, mostly you can rent houses there and cook your own meals. you can have fires on most beaches at night. Love it there!! Just be sure to go to the top part of the Cape, because the lower half is more commercialized and missing the history. Its within driving distance of Boston, and you can visit Cape Cod Potato Chip factory while you are there too! It is warmest there in late July and August…but if its rainy you may need a sweater. It is a wonderful place. gorgeous!!
Come visit us on the West Coast of Florida. We have Sanibel Island, Captiva, beautiful beaches, shops, restaurants. From there, go to the Everglades, Marco Island, all within an hours drive. Drive south on 41, old highway, takes you straight to Miami, hour/half. This road takes you through all of Big Cypress Basin, go take a ride on a air boat!!! We ha THE kEYS, FISHING, SNORKELING, BOATING!!! Come see this area, never want to leave! Have Fun!!!!
You could try Tampa FL. Busch Gardens and Adventure Island are right next to each other. BG has several rollercoasters and water rides, and AI is a water park with some pretty cool slides.
The beaches (St. Petersburg and/or Clearwater) are about 40 minutes out from Tampa. Really nice beaches, by the way.
Also, the city of Ybor- city within Tampa- is really nice during the day and night. During the day there are really nice shops, and at night there’s several cool clubs and restaurants. And, in Ybor, there’s a Gameworks. It’s a pretty cool arcade.
International Plaza is a really nice mall right near the airport in Tampa, too.
I think you’ll find nice things to do in Tampa.
If you like the great outdoors, check out the North GA Mountains. Lots of outdoor activities including:
Ocoee River – White Water Rafting, Kayaking
Lake Blue Ridge and Lake Nottely – swimming, fishing
Toccoa River – tubing, fishing, canoe rentals
Blue Ridge Marina – jet ski and boat rentals
Aska Adventure Wilderness Area – hiking and biking
Horesback riding, golf, sightseeing, and so much more!
It is very scenic with beautiful mountains. Cabin rentals are plentiful from luxury cabins to rustic ones. Most offer private hot tubs and game rooms with pool tables.
Somewhere that I’ve seen has neat sounding amusement/water parks (although I haven’t been) is Wisconsin Dells http://www.wisdells.com/. That might be somewhere different.
