I need a vacation, but i am broke. Should I just camp out in a State or National park?

I can’t go to a distant park, but maybe a park within 100 miles.
If i camp out alone, will people rob me? Will i get eaten by bears and wolves?
Will i get bored? Do i have to poop in the bushes?

There are no electrical outlets and I only have a small car.

This doesn’t sound very fun.

Is yellowstone a good place for vacation?

Was thinking of going up there this summer, but what is there tp do up there, should we go camping or stay in a hotel, if so what campground or hotels are good? Any other info would help to. Thanks

When is the soonest time for vacation in the army?

Im goin to boot camp on feb 15 flying there to ft jackson etc etc then AIT then that is about 12 weeks I believe and Im thinking about doing parachuting if its available and thats 3 weeks I heard, so what would be the soonest I could do some vacation for R&R? or whenever?
I know its called airborne, i didnt feel like typin all that

Where should we go for vacation? Looking for 500 miles away from Des Moines, IA.?

We are looking for vacation suggestions within a 500 mile radius of Des Moines, IA. Would like to go camping preferably, but any ideas will be welcome. New to the region and not sure what is around us. We’d also actually prefer to go south some, hoping for the warmest weather possible. Dates are first week of June. Thanks!
