I need a vacation, but i am broke. Should I just camp out in a State or National park?

I can’t go to a distant park, but maybe a park within 100 miles.
If i camp out alone, will people rob me? Will i get eaten by bears and wolves?
Will i get bored? Do i have to poop in the bushes?

There are no electrical outlets and I only have a small car.

This doesn’t sound very fun.

Where should we go for vacation? Looking for 500 miles away from Des Moines, IA.?

We are looking for vacation suggestions within a 500 mile radius of Des Moines, IA. Would like to go camping preferably, but any ideas will be welcome. New to the region and not sure what is around us. We’d also actually prefer to go south some, hoping for the warmest weather possible. Dates are first week of June. Thanks!

should i go to church camp or vacation?

I have my yearly Student life camp on the same week my family and i go to st. louis.
we go to st. louis for every 4th of july. student life with my church is every year but has never been this time of the month. usually later or earlier.

what should i pack for my month long vacation?

im going on a month long vacation with my dad,brother, and sister. my dad bought a camper so were gonna take all month and drive around canada and stop and camp and see all the sites and stuff like that are last destination will be Ontario. Im kinda having trouble packing because i don’t want to over pack but i don’t want to under pack and im just unshure of what ill need for a whole month.I NEED HELP. we leave in 2 days.

Short vacation in the southwest, where should I go?

I would like to meet my friend from Portland for a couple of days over thanksgiving vacation. I live in Albuquerque. Where should we meet that would make sense? It has to be something nature related. Where we can go on hikes and camp. One or both os us could fly, if need be. I would prefer a drive of 8 hours or less if I could help it.

What things should i take on vacation to Apple River (Somerset, WI)?

I leave wednesday morning for Apple River in Somerset Wisconsin. We will be camping for 4 nights, during the days we will be tubing down the river. It’s pretty much just a drunk fest. I went last year but I forgot all the things that were helpful on the trip if anyone has some good suggestions they would be well appreciated. Also what would be some good food to take along that will be easy to cook over a campfire, or any other food that doesnt require preperation

Where should my family go on vacation this summer?

I really want to show my family how fun it is to be together so should we rent and R.V. and go camping and go white water rafting,fishing and kayaking, or should we go back to Destin like every year?
