My husband and I are looking to celebrate an anniversary in the Thousand Islands area, and we want somewhere remote and romantic. Ideal would be a little cottage of our own or something of that nature. This is for October, if that makes a difference. HELP! Thanks!

He has never been on an airplane or travelled outside of Canada. I have always travelled in Europe. So, we really don’t know where the best spot would be. we are looking at spending between $1000 to $1500 (CDN) each
