Any educational vacation ideas for N. Cali/Oregon in April for a family w/ kids and a Senior?

We are looking for something educational (museums/camping/activities for kids). For camping we would need good facilities w/ heat since have a senior. The kids are 8 and 10yrs. They’ve been to Yosemite. Mid April for around 5 days. Not too expensive. Any ideas?

Is Mt Rushmore a good vacation spot for a young family?

We have a 6, 4 and 2 year old and instead of taking the usual family camping trip to the lake, we want to go somewhere else. We are thinking of driving to Mt. Rushmore. Just wondering if this is a good idea for a family with those age kids? Will they like it? Are there other things for them to do? If so, please suggest some fun activities for the whole family in that area.

Where should my family go on vacation this summer?

I really want to show my family how fun it is to be together so should we rent and R.V. and go camping and go white water rafting,fishing and kayaking, or should we go back to Destin like every year?

Must not contain a lot of walking. No camping or hiking and she hates bugs. Disney is not an option.

medical camp or vacation with the family?

ok so i have this medical camp (once in a lifetime oppurtunity!! which also cost $250) and it is on AUG 3-6….but then my parents just found out were going somehwere for vacation on the 5th of august early morning when im gone?

so should i go to the camp for 2 days and leave early…..or should i just ask for a refund. alk;sdkdfj OR WHAT SHOULD I DO
